The Hunt Sydney to Summit is back for its second edition in 2024 challenging riders to pedal from Sydney to the Summit of Australia at Mount Kosciuszko.
Much like the Hunt 1000, the Hunt Sydney to Summit is adopting the Grand Finish, with riders aiming to finish on Saturday March 2nd.
”There are no winners and no awards for completing this epic journey – it’s all about the personal challenge.”
The Hunt Sydney to Summit is roughly 680km; riders can choose their own start date, departing Sydney and following the route south, experiencing a variety of national parks and passing through the varied environments that include everything from coastal, forested, farmland, open plains and all the way up to the snowy mountains. Much like the Hunt 1000, the event is a self-supported bikepacking route where riders need to be self sufficient; the route will pass through occasional small towns along the way and aims to be mostly off-road.
Registration for the event is now open with more details to be found on the event website.
