Great Otway Gravel Grind
97km / 49km
Forrest, Otway National Park, Victoria
The Great Otway Gravel Grind, GOGG, is back in late Feb for its fifth year. The two races, 97km & 49km, take place along the smooth rolling gravel roads of the Otway Ranges, surrounding Forrest. Riders follow a magical line through the beautiful Great Otway National Park and will enjoy sweeping views across the Great Ocean Road region.
The GOGG is a timed race, but the inclusion of ‘time-out zones’ means you can stop for coffee and catch up with mates, without impacting your race time. The GOGG finishes amidst a huge bike expo and food festival at the Forrest Football Ground.
“I loved the time-out zones! Meant I could catch up with mates and also appreciate what a special part of the world I was riding in!”
MARK, A 2020 97KM GRAVEL GRIND COMPETITOR
The GOGG is held in conjunction with the Otway Odyssey MTB Marathons (on Saturday) making an incredible double header weekend for any rider.
