Crookwell Cruise Challenge – ACT

Started as an endurance ride in 2023, the Crookwell Cruise Challenge is back in 2025 with three new distances.

Starting in Canberra, riders can choose from 250km, 500km, or 1000km. The event takes place on the last Saturday of September.

Here’s a bit about the event creator, Josh:

A little about me; Very long term Canberra resident, been into bikepacking since 2016, I have completed the tour divide, Brisdivide, Mallee Blast 1000, Cloudride (multiple times), ridden from the top of Norway to Athens Greece and other multitude of multi day bikepacking routes, got many more adventures planned in the future, enjoy creating routes and always think “I wonder where that road/trail goes”. My favourite saying; If you wait for perfect conditions, you’ll never get anything done.
