Beechworth Granite Classic

Bridge Road Brewers presents this brand new weekend-long gravel cycling event, showcasing some of the Victorian High Country’s most picturesque back roads.

Whether you’re into getting dirty on a freewheeling farm lane and fire road adventure or conquering some classic High Country climbs, the Beechworth Granite Classic needs to be a lock on your cycling calendar!

Racing or riding, spectating or supporting, this is a weekend that celebrates cycling culture in what is fast becoming one of the country’s adventure cycling meccas.

Friday April 23 – Bike Expo

Bike builders and brands will showcase their wares inside the Bridge Road brewhouse at this low key evening expo. 

Saturday April 24 – Beechworth Granite Classic 

Choose from a 45km or an 80km loop – 2 dynamic and varied routes taking in some premium groads and top notch High Country scenery along the way. 

* 640m of vertical on the 45km + 1430m of vertical on the 80km loop.

* Maps published shortly.

* Ride fully supported and managed by Bicycle Network.

* Early bird registrations ($10 discount) on sale until Feb 28.

Saturday April 24 – Family Loop

We’ve curated a family friendly loop taking in a combination of local track, road and rail trail. Details TBC.

Saturday April 24 – Dinner

Share war stories from the days ride at a 3 course dinner by Bridge Road Brewers at The Beechworth Memorial Hall. The evening will feature some special guests and light entertainment making this the definitive post-ride soiree.
