MAAP Beechworth Granite Classic

Join Bridge Road Brewers in beautiful Beechworth for this weekend-long gravel cycling event, showcasing some of the Victorian High Country’s most picturesque back roads. Whether you’re into getting dirty on a freewheeling farm lane and bush track adventure or conquering some classic High Country climbs, the MAAP Beechworth Granite Classic needs to be a lock on your cycling calendar. Whether you’re racing friends, riding socially, spectating or supporting, this is a weekend that celebrates cycling culture in one of the countries most understated, adventure cycling meccas.

It’s a full weekend of 2 wheeled action starting on Friday night with a handmade Bike expo. Saturday’s main event followed by a dinner party with some cycling luminaries,  and a chance to share war stories from the days ride. Sunday sees some guided recovery rides taking in some different aspects of the Beechworth riding experience.

Back on the MAAP Beechworth Granite Classic – The 2022 courses are 100% different to last year’s – Taking in the champagne gravel of Mount Pilot National Park and its seemingly endless network of fast rolling surfaces and glorious, rugged vistas. Riders can choose from 3 widely varied, fun and challenging loops to cater for all levels of ability.

45km / 650m vertical / 10am departure

90km / 1300m+ vertical / 9am departure

120km / 1600m+ vertical / 8am departure

All routes are around 90% gravel and will be released closer to the event.
