Race to the Rock 2023 – QLD – NT

2nd Sep

3,800km | 1,000km

Brisbane - Rockhampton - Yulara

Race to the Rock is a solo, unsupported bike race from Brisbane to Uluru. It’s your own personal race against the clock. Even if no one can get there, Race to the Rock will start, as always, on the first Saturday of September. Kickoff this year is at 6:22am on Saturday 2 September 2023. Don’t forget that you can do this ride, or any of the other Race To The Rock course whenever it works for you. Race To The Rock season is August to September (April isn’t too bad either!)

Remember this is your own ride, your own race against the clock, there is no formal organiser, there is absolutely no on-the-ground support. If you get into trouble, you will need to find a way out. YOU are your own organiser – I’m not organising anything, other than giving you a suggested route. As such you will need to monitor border and travel restrictions, although hopefully these are a thing of the past.

Head to the Race to the Rock Facebook group for more details on the ride, links to the draft routes and information on registering your tracker. Race to the Rock Facebook group link: https://www.facebook.com/RaceToTheRock/about_details
